Project: behind bars

I think this blog will have to be bi-lingual to satisfy my need to improve on my english-skills, and perhaps to satisfy your need, dear/rare international reader, to have a clue what this blog is about... even though i'm not quite sure myself.

Anyway, this little project came into being whilst studying the manual of my camera (a very humble Canon EOS 350D) and trying out different options. Obviously I edited these pictures quite a bit to familiarize myself with Photoshop (Elements that is) and to get a more dramatic effect. I probably shouldn't tell you but these aren't actual bars... as in prison bars. Quite frankly this is my so called 'chaise blache' (so make that tri-lingual) a.k.a. 'Olle' at Ikea.

Another thing that I probably should point out to you is that any melo-dramatic effect can never be immediately explained as a result of my current mood! On the contrary: I'm capable of producing the most dramatic, dark and moody pictures in stark contrast to my (overall very happy) state of mind.
